Review Of Tata Harper’s Superkind Bio-Shield serum
For those who are new here, I am a former green beauty professional and MUA. As of February 2023, I have had hours upon hours of dedicated training and/or work directly from brands, from PAI skincare, Three ships, Kora Organics and Odacite to higher-end luxury brands like True Botanicals, Agent Nateur, and yes… Tata Harper. Of course, I have trained with many more brands including meeting with some pretty cool founders, but these are just a few brands that I can name off-head.
My reviews are often in the order of what a customer would experience when sampling or trying a new product for themselves in-store.

Important Notes: Skin type and background information.
The super kind formulation is meant to be a direct mirror of Tata Harper’s original line of luxury skincare products, minus the essential oils. So for anyone who found Tata’s original line too active, Super kind is made to be super kind to your face and skin. This line is overall gentle and marketed towards sensitive skin. Today I am reviewing their Bio-Shield Serum.
My Review for Tata Harper is as follows: Bio-Shield Serum
Formula: Gentle, for the above reasons stated. I can attest that there was no irritation on my skin upon applying the product.
Smell: It smells quite like a soft field in the spring. A very gentle aroma much like after the first rain of the season, but even softer still.
Consistency: The consistency is quite light, it feigns a slight greasiness that surprisingly (and almost immediately) settles down to a velvet-like texture once pressed into the facial skin.
Penetration: It penetrates easily into the skin, and no more than 5 minutes after I barely feel a layer of product. What I do feel is very moisturized, but not in a way that makes me feel like I’m wearing product... which is nice.
Results: I used this serum primarily in the dry winter mornings, and quite literally it is the only serum that has not left me feeling the need to re-apply throughout the day. This oil-based serum is marketed as a hydrating oil due to its patent-pending formulation. I don’t know how they managed to do it, but it left my dry face feeling well-loved, enough for me to back the claim that this serum boasts.
All reviews are done after several uses of the product to promote full reaction transparency.
